NORMS Restaurant

My salads were poorly put together. My soup was mostly water. Then my food was fine nice and hot except mash tasted burnt. Vegetables were cold. So I waited for steak sauce over 10 minutes and I asked twice. So I did not eat dinner tonight. And the store manager sat back and watched the show. I'm truly disappointed that I had so many fond memories of norms. Now my children will never feel the joy of great service and food . The end of an era RIP norms

I've gone to this place for years with my family and the food is great along with the restaurant environment. The find is good and so is the serice. Overall I give them five stars.

Retro vibe, affordable restaurant. Wide variety of food with many different choices - there is something for just about everyone, on the menu. Our party ordered chicken parmesan - good flavor, pasta sauce could have had a bit more seasoning; cheeseburger deal - good flavor & fries were good; breakfast skillet - large portion & great mix of meat, hashbrowns, cheese, onions, & bell peppers (salsa on the side would have been welcomed); meatloaf meal - veggies were great, meatloaf was favorable. Employees are friendly and restaurant was clean.

Came to meet friends for breakfast 3 of us were here and they refused to seat us until all 5 of us were here. We wanted to sit and enjoy some coffee before the other arrived...so much for service. Smh

This is a great Norms... My wife and went for breakfast and our meal was well worth the wait.. At first we thought it wasn't gonna be all that good because of how busy it was but that was not the case our meal was A1...

Its where life happens? Lol. No serious it always open and you know what to expect when you go here l. Good food, Soup, salad. Good old dinner food.

The food is pretty good, but the reason I give it a 3 star is because of the service. The vibe there is just off, the servers seem kind of out of it.

The food is good but depending how ur waiters hospitality "I think it's very important when going to a Restaurant"

The food was amazing the service for the most part was great it took a while for someone to actually show up in order to seat the guests that were waiting to be seated as well for someone to take my check

The waitress was very kind and attentive. We did not have to wait a long time for our food. The waitress would come back and check on us. We didn't feel abandoned by the waitress.

Great late night or any time food. The place is open 24 hours. Good prices and good food. The Food had too much salt added to it. Maybe is part of the formula or maybe it was an accident by the Chef. I believe the latter. So I still believe it was good. The menu has what everyone in this country would want. It also represents clearly what kind of food we like and love in this Country. This is truly what made in The USA means.

Norms, Denny’s or iHop? Norms WINS every time. Food taste better. Prices are better. Portions are better. And open 24 hours is a plus. Thanks Norms!

I don't normally go to restaurants alone but I did today. Kind and courteous staff. Prompt seating and service. My waitress checked on me and refilled my coffee at least 3 times. Good size portions for a great price.

It was actually really good. They offer decent food at affordable prices. It’s clean, and friendly.They serve you right away, and they allow you to relax.It’s not pretentious. Just good, comforting food.

My wife and I went on a Tuesday morning and were surprised how many people were there. We were seated immediately. It took a few minutes before they took our order, but the food didn't take long. I feel we got good portions for the price and the staff was very friendly. There was a misunderstanding regarding a posted special saying that you could add a juice for only $1.49 when buying a breakfast... so ask how they interpret that before you order.

Service was very poor, I came in the restaurant about 12:30 in the morning nobody was around to seat me at a table for about 10 minutes. So I sat down at one of the tables and when the waitress did come over to me, I asked her for a glass of water she replied, I can give you a cup of water to go but you cannot stay here and drink it. I asked her what are you talkin about? (I guess she assumed that I was homeless) without giving me the common courtesy of asking me okay sir may I take your order. After that encounter I did not feel comfortable letting her handle my food so I left. I don't think I ever will be back!!!

Went to Norms in Riverside. They had no chicken at 5:16. We sat at the counter with another customer, it took 40 minutes to get our meals and they were warm from sitting so long. Anything that was good was the salad. Horrible all around.

We went on a monday for dinner and we got the kids eat free deal portions were big and food was good service was pleasant and timely would visit again.

Norm's has hands down the best Steak ever!! Love their Steak and Egg Breakfast also best cold Milk ever. Food is always great and service is usually good!!!💪

I've been dining at this location since I was 6 years old. Good place to eat. The management has changed over the years, resulting in different changes both good and bad. But overall, I've never had a big issue here before. The food is good. Prices are amazing. And the servers are kind. Overall it's a good place to come and eat for breakfast and lunch and dinner.

If you're up late and need a warm meal! Norms is open late and staff is really friendly! My wife and I enjoy coming here during the night when we are up with our toddler who will sometimes keep us up really late. We love you Norms.

Waitresses were very kind even though the restaurant was packed on a Sunday. My sister got her cheese bread until the very end before we were leaving, but at least sour waitress was nice enough to still bring it out and apart from that, everything else was spot on. Their iced coffee is really delicious by the way, and the free refills are very much appreciated :)

My GOD loving wife Darlene loves Norms. Nevertheless this one needs security, we went for her birthday, and on of the local drunks was threatening us, and cussing us out, while we were waiting to be served. Sad but true.

Don't waste your money. We start out with appetizers and they don't even give you plates did you tap ties ers on so ranch and barbecue is now all over the table. Then the name course got taken back 3 times because it was incorrect. Then we end the night with ice cream ordered cotton candy cream just wanted ice cream they had the add hot fudge and whipped cream to it. I didn't ask for a sunda I asked for scoop of cotton candy ice cream.

This place has really turned around. Came here years ago, and the vegetables at that time were like canned Veg-all. Last night's visit surprised me. The food was delicious. All salad dressings were made in house from scratch. Their menu included comfort food and healthy options. Restrooms were clean. Our server was in training, but very friendly, conscientious and competent. I ordered the white fish, my companions ordered chicken Alfredo and grilled salmon. All were very tasty.

Extremely satisfied with this locale! Had to take off a star due to the slow service, but they are incredibly friendly and willing to meet your needs.

I walked in about 245am on a Saturday/Sunday morning. They were busy. It took a bit to get seated but I could see everyone was hustling. I was seated and attended to shortly after. Had the 4 deuces and coffee. Very good, sausage and bacon were cooked perfect as were the pancakes and eggs (scrambled). My waitress, Adriana, very attentive and despite the night crowd that stumbled in was Johnny on the spot.Also, the men's restroom I expected it to be a bit trashed due the crazy crowd but it was very clean and well kept up.To say the least, my new go to place when I'm driving in Riverside.

Cold food. The server gave us our ticket with our food. They couldn't have pushed us out the door fast enough! Totally NOT worth it

The hostess and the server were both very happy and offered superior service. The food was awesome. The homeless that are like the walking dead are everywhere outside asking for money, leftovers, handouts, etc. The homeless need to get to work cause the ones hustling look very able to be productive.

Prices are good. Food is basic fare, nothing special, but consistently good. Wish I could say the same about the service. Sometimes they seem understaffed. The wait times can be long when they are not even that busy and there are several empty tables. Sometimes they never come by with the coffee pot. However sometimes the service is excellent. Nice variety and portions, you will leave full. Just don't expect gourmet perfection at these prices, for example, our pasta was not al dente. Good place to come when you're really hungry.

It's cool that they're open 24 hours not too many places are nowadays.. I came here with my brother and my sister for Thanksgiving dinner and I just ordered some their garlic cheese fries with pastrami on top they were pretty good but they advertise lots of pastrami on their menu but it wasn't that much pastrami.. their strawberry pancakes were pretty good.. as well and our waitress was attentive.

Fast friendly service. I live in Los Angeles and come to riverside to visit family for Christmas every year. Me and my family for the past 4 years have had Christmas breakfast here and the food and the service has been awesome.

Norms prices are usually cheaper than other breakfast joints. I've always loved the Belgian waffles and the t-bone steak, but the Riverside location is not as good as other Norms I've gone. Still service was good and prices are reasonable.

Me and TJ both had the fried chicken sandwich (I opted for the Nashville hot version). Mine had just the right amount of kick (I can handle medium-high level of spice). The fried chicken was super crispy and not oily at all - in fact we thought it was air fried for a minute. We also had mimosa carafe which was average. All in all a great brunch experience
